The shaping and cuticle work hold up until nails grow out, roughly 4-6 weeks.
The nail lacquer polish will last 1-2 weeks.
With regular polish remover — no soaking or filing required, which makes it the gentlest option for nails.
The gel polish will last 2-3 weeks.
It needs to be soaked off in acetone — it should never be peeled, as that can strip layers of the natural nail.
Not if properly soaked off and removed by a technician. Damage usually comes from picking or peeling gel at home, or wearing tight, closed shoes that chip the edges and invite lifting.
Every pedicure starts dry, with meticulous cleaning of the toenails, cuticles, and calluses. From there it moves into an antibacterial soak, an exfoliating scrub, a massage, and a hot towel finish.
At Sen Beauty, we start dry, which means all nail and callus work is done before any water is involved. Skin that has been soaked becomes soft and swollen, which makes it much harder to see the true edge of a callus or the real shape of the nail. Working dry gives us far better precision and a result that lasts noticeably longer.
Your service is finished with an antibacterial soak, exfoliating scrub, massage, and hot towel, so you still get the comfortable, relaxing part – just in the right order.
Every 4–6 weeks is common for maintenance. toenails grow more slowly than fingernails, so pedicures generally stretch out longer between visits than manicures.
Not inherently — but improper removal and over-filing can thin and weaken toenails. Proper technique and soak-off removal keep nails healthy.
Yes. We carry gel products that are HEMA-free, and a selection that is both HEMA-free and TPO-free.
HEMA is a common ingredient in gel polish and one of the more frequent causes of contact allergy in nail services – itching, redness, or swelling around the nail folds, sometimes appearing only after months or years of wearing gel without issue. If you’ve reacted to gel before, or you’d simply prefer to avoid these ingredients, tell us when you book so your technician can set up with the right products and colour range for your appointment.
No. Jetted foot spas have internal pipework that is very difficult to fully disinfect between clients, and it’s one of the more common sources of infection in the industry. Our process doesn’t require one.
With professional-grade files, rasps, and softening products. We don’t use credo blades or any bladed callus shaver. Blades remove skin quickly, but they also remove more than intended and leave the skin more vulnerable.
Yes, and this is a large part of why Sen Beauty exists. Our founder’s clinical background shaped how our pedicure is structured: no blades, no shared water systems, autoclave-sterilized instruments, and a careful, conservative approach to skin. Please tell us about your health history when you book so your technician can plan accordingly.
We provide cosmetic nail care, not treatment. We can shape and clean up the nail and make it look and feel better, but if something needs medical attention we’ll say so directly and recommend you see a foot specialist.
Absolutely. This is very common and nothing to be self-conscious about. Depending on the nail, options range from cosmetic tidying to full reconstruction.
Generally yes. Ventilated spaces are a common precaution, but there’s no strong evidence that pedicures themselves pose a risk.
Each manicure and pedicure station is custom-built and connected to an HVAC system to extract dust and fumes from the air to keep our space healthier for our employees and clients.
From classic dry pedicures to Russian pedicures — treatments for every client for healthy feet and long-lasting nails.
Sen Beauty’s protocols were built around the same infection-control standards used in clinical settings — not adapted from spa or salon norms.
